HR Headlight Kit

Instructions

USING OUR HR HEADLIGHT RESTORATION PRODUCT IS SIMPLE AND EASY.

STEP 1: Wet sanding (if required). Over 80% of headlights do not need to be sanded. You can just start with Step 2.

If sanding is required test a small spot to determine what grit you need to sand out the damaged ares. Start with 800 grit then lower. Do not just start with the coarsest grit just unnecessary work. Whatever grit you end up using sand area then move up in grits to remove scratches after 800 complete.

*Sandpaper is to be used WET. Spray with water or dip in bucket of water and do not let dry.

STEP 2: Decide what you are using for power whether polisher (thread Velcro backer directly on) or drill attach coupler included into Velcro backer attach to drill.

STEP 3: Always start on lowest setting to avoid splatter. Attach small pad to backer. Apply small amount of STEP 1 Product (1 line across pad you can always apply more). Just rub pad onto the headlight to apply product to lens. Then slowly start machine and applying some pressure. Allow product and pad to do the work. STEP 1 will remove over 80% of discolor and scratches. Apply more product until this is achieved.

STEP 4: Pull of small pad and replace with big wool pad. Again apply small amount of STEP 2 Product and work the same was as the last STEP. STEP 2 should remove rest of yellowing and most scratches.

STEP 5: With same pad apply small amount of STEP 3 Product. Using same method as STEP 1 & 2 Products. This is the protectant layer. Make sure to cover all of the lens and work it into the lens.

STEP 6: Peel off tape from around lenses and wipe clean with microfiber provided.

Now You’re ready to SEE CLEARLY AGAIN! Thank you for using our product.

Required Items

Bucket of water, variable speed polisher/drill (electric or battery) and painters tape. Before you begin tape around headlights to protect edges of paint. Sometimes easier to pop hood to access car lenses.

Remember

The better you sand and remove all contaminates/scratches from lenses using 400/600/800 wet sandpaper the better and faster the product will work. Headlight lenses are extremely thick and you will not sand too much to damage lenses.
